Walks with Whales - April 12-17, 2010 PDF Print E-mail

You are invited to Orcas Island for Yoga, Walking and Whales

killerwhalesThe Olympic coverage on TV is something I’ve looked forward to enjoying. In the background beyond the games is the set and setting of the North West coast – brilliant and majestic – our precious world is simply very inspiring. Lucky athletes, eh?

walkwhaleComing this April I will be joining fellow teachers – Larissa Carlson, Jovinna Chan, Alan Haines - and guests in a gathering to receive first hand some of the beautiful imagery, sense impressions and conversations at Orcas Island in Washington state. Together we will be practicing yoga, walking mindfully, enjoying good food and catching glimpses of the migrating whales. This is a retreat as much as it is a gathering. It is a time for reflection and deep rest with skillful guides.

The Oceans are forever impressive, expansive across time and space holding pieces of every human soul resonating with the water element and birthing life. The whales, the distant gaze and the fresh sea breezes are waiting for us all.If interested in this amazing time out of routine...
